Jack's 1st Birthday
I can't beleive it's been a year since Jack entered our lives. He still feels like my baby, but he's quickly turning into a little boy.
We met Daddy for lunch on his birthday
... and went on a walk and blew bubbles after he got home from work.
His birthday party was not a screaming success. He came down with an ear infection and a high fever and only wanted to cuddle all night. No interest in all the kids or cake or anything. He actually fell asleep before present time even with 30 noisy people in out house. Poor baby- look at those eyes welled up with tears!
He seems underwhelmed with his new toys, but once he started his antibiotic, he kept bring them up to me to show me them over and over again!

Halloween 2010
Pumpkin carving--
Halloween kitchen crafts (you can find instructions here):
We made string cheese fingers,
oreo spiders,
apple-almond monster jaws,
and witches brew!
Despite the bad weather, Jack had a great time. Naughty Aunt Lori even gave him a sucker!

Birthday cow?!
Our doorbell rang late Thursday night and this is what we found on our doorstep--
I have never heard of such a thing. Now we have to hurry and find out who's birthday is next, so I can get this thing out of my house. I startles me everytime I walk past it!

11 months old
I had such a great time with my baby today. We played chase and peek-a-boo this morning, had lunch with Daddy, took a 45 minute car nap (both of us), and went to the park. We rolled around in the grass and played on the swings and ate dried leaves (just Jack). I love this age so much! I had 12 different strangers come up to me and tell me how sweet and adorable my little guy was today. He had charm just dripping out of his ears! Days like this make all of the yucky, teething, sleep deprived, covered in babyfood and throw-up days so worth it!

Cuddling with his grandma
This is Jack's favorite game right now. Ned is hiding on the other side waiting for Jack to throw back the curtain and surprise him. Jack thinks it's the funniest thing in the world!
