Don't know what happened to the shorts, but the shoes, socks, and hat all somehow managed to make it on!

Dirty Dash 2011
Ned and I both ran the dirty dash this year. It was significantly muddier than last year.
We had so much fun and hope to make this a tradition! Anyone want to join us?

Highland Splash Pad
I think we have a new summer hangout! Jack loved playing at the splash pad today- better yet, it's only 2.5 miles from our house. I can easily run there on days that I'm feeling ambitious!
He kind of looks like Elder Holland to me in this last one- HA!
Celebration time!
Owen had his birthday party at Juming Jacks right after Jack got his cast off. We were ready to celebrate, so the timing was perfect for us.
I don't know if there has ever been a more sugared up, over-stimulated baby!
He got to choose a ring pop, but it never even made it onto his finger.
Yeah, there's soda in that sippy cup. Never again.
He was the stickiest mess afterwards, but so happy!

Jack got his cast off last Monday. Here are the before shots at Grandma's house-

There it is, all healed up!
Once the cast was off, I gave him the wrapper to his sucker, and told him to throw it away. He jumped up without hesitation and ran to the trash can. It must have been feeling better!
And here we have two shoes (one much dirtier than the other) for the first time in 3 1/2 weeks!
