The Dirty Dash

Ned has been training for the Dirty Dash for the past 2 months.  He had been telling me that he wanted to do something he's never done before, and a couple days later he came home and told me he overheard someone talking about a mud run.  We looked it up, and is was a 10k covered in mud from start to finish, including obstacles, a huge slip'n'slide, and a mud pit you have to swim through to reach the finish line.  We signed Ned up right away!
On your mark, get set...
Go!
Lori, Emily, Matthew, Jack, Dex, and Carter waiting for Ned to cross the finish line
The world's longest slip(slop)'n slide

These socks were white when he started
 Yuck!

We had so much fun, we're both already signed up for the next one in May!

And the secret ingredients are...

I've got my menu planned, but Kaylene and Daniel might be interested in your ideas.  Let me know what you can come up with!  The challenge will take place on October 3 during the last session of General Conference.  Anyone who would like to taste our creations and be a judge should come to Rolyne's!

I just looked over at Jack as I was logging on and he has climbed up on my elliptical (both feet!) and he's throwing his weight on the bar connected to the handle, trying to make it move.  Oh, now he's decided he's done and climbs down, just like that!  Someone came and stole my little baby and left this toddler in his place!

10 months old

So much has happened in a month.  Most exciting for us is that Jack can say Mama (I should say he can't stop saying mama) and he started walking!!  Video to come.

A visit from Nana

We spent the day at the animal farm in Thanksgiving Point:
 We miss you!

Chamberladas!
